WHAT IS REQUIRED TO FISH AROUND
KINGSTON, GANANOQUE, AND THE 1000 ISLANDS?

*** ANYONE 18 YEARS
OLD AND OVER REQUIRES AN ONTARIO FISHING LICENSE,
any non canadian under 18 years of age is supposed to
be accompanied by a licensed adult,
Canadian residents who are 65 years or older, or 17 years
and younger, do not require a fishing license fish in Ontario,

note: there are 2 things you need to buy...
you must purchase an
outdoors card and a
time validation tag,
( unless you are buying a 1 day fishing license,
one day fishing licenses have only 1 part to purchase )
There are two types of licenses offered
1. the
conservations license; this is where
you are more catch & release fishing, although you are allowed to
keep a few fish.
2. the
sport license; this is where you
are allowed to keep more fish, this license is popular with muskie and
salmon and trout fishermen,
the sport license will cost
more

ANGLER. THERE ARE SEVERAL BOAT LAUNCHES IN THE AREAS,

and will point out fishing spots. We will also provide fishing tips and
suggestions based on the weather and the time of year.
